This privacy notice tells you how Retreat for Mothers collects, protects and uses personal information. Retreat for Mothers is committed to ensuring that any personal data supplied by its clients or generated by its business activities is collected and processed fairly and lawfully. We never pass your information on to any other third parties, unless you have given us your prior explicit consent, which could be verbal.
This policy applies to information we collect about:
• visitors to our websites;
• people who attend our courses or events;
• email and phone enquiries.
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
Collection of Personal Information
When visiting the Retreat for Mothers website, the IP address used to access the site will be logged along with the dates and times of access. This information is purely used to analyse trends, administer the site, track users movement and gather broad demographic information for internal use. Most importantly, any recorded IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
What types of Personal Data does Retreat for Mothers collect and use?
Retreat for Mothers needs certain personal information to enable us to provide our products and services to our clients successfully and effectively. The personal data collected will generally include: name, email, and phone number. There are some instances where other pieces of information are collected necessary for the course or event you may be booking onto or enquiring about.
Any information you provide to us will not be passed on to any other person, company or organisation unless this is necessary to provide you with a service or product you have specifically requested from us.
When someone books onto one of our courses or events using the online booking form, we hold the data within website third party services (WooCommerce and
Mailchimp). We only then use this data to contact you for the reasons you have consented your data to be used for in the first place.
We use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our incredibly infrequent e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter.
For further information about these third party providers’ policies, please see their individual Privacy Policies.
Protection of your Personal Data
Our emails are protected by the encryption systems used by our third party email providers, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If your email service does not support TLS or SSL, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or
malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.
We keep any hard copies of your data securely stored. We keep it for seven years and then destroy it.
All data is securely stored using password encrypted third party storage systems. Personal computers are also password encrypted.

Why we might contact you:

be interested in, and have given consent for. We may send out an infrequent general newsletter to all our subscribers, updating them on Retreat for Mothers news, as consented to.
How we use your information:
Other than your contact details, all other personal or non-personal information is only used to improve or inform our services, course content and delivery.
